Honey adventures

On Thursday evening, our neighbors were getting the honey out of their beehives. So here is some of the slats. Loaded with honey and honeycomb.

What fun! My husband's father had several bee hives when they lived in Minnesota and he has fond memories of yummy fresh honey and honeycomb... I'm hoping to be able to get some good local honey soon at our farmer's market. Mmm!
